Messianic Dance International (MDI)

More and more we are sensing the desire of the Body to rediscover its Jewish roots, especially in worship, praise, and Messianic dance. Many Jews are coming to faith in Yeshua, and God is fulfilling His promise to restore the natural branches (the Jews) in the last days. Messianic Dance International provides resources to help teach Messianic dance and worship including the following:

What is Messianic Dance?

Messianic dance is praise and worship dance that combines Israeli folk and contemporary worship music to choreographed dances. The hands and feet of a Messianic dancer are the Lord's instruments of praise and worship. Each dance that we do at Beit Tikvah is based on a specific scriptural passage.

During our beginner dance classes we teach basic dance steps, slowly with many repetitions until each student feels they know the dance well. Two beginner dances are taught every week.

Our intermediate classes build upon the foundation of these basic steps, adding more dance routine sequences and direction changes. One intermediate dance is taught every week.

The advanced dances that we teach have multiple parts with various direction changes and quick, lively hops and jumps. One advanced dance is taught every week.
